Miss Universe 1969 Dahlia Rodriguez-De Veyra throws an intimate dinner party to celebrate the centennial birthday of her late mother, who was crowned Miss Philippines 1939 and Manila’s last Carnival Queen. Leading the guest list are her three headstrong daughters who are all international beauty pageant titlists, with the youngest son being a transwoman whom the domineering Queen Mother disowned, ultimately tearing the family apart.
