What is Consensus?
If you want a quick idea of whether a title is right for you without wading through long comments or relying solely on a blunt score, Consensus breaks it down.
Each genre a title belongs to and four core aspects (Writing, Acting, Visuals, and Entertainment) receive a dedicated score from 1 to 9 (from Abysmal to Masterpiece). Together, these give you an immediate picture of the film or show's character and tone.
All consensus data is indexed directly into the database, powering granular search filters so you can discover exactly what you're in the mood for.
A concise list of pros and cons is also provided. While not exhaustive—since reviews can be polarized and art is subjective—they highlight recurring themes across audience feedback, especially on titles with extensive review data.
