Bipasha Basu (born 7 January 1979) is an Indian actress and former fashion model who has worked primarily in Hindi cinema, along with appearances in Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, and English films. She began her film career by portraying a negative character in Abbas-Mustan's suspense thriller *Ajnabee* (2001), earning the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.
