Miki Haruka (三木はるか) is a Japanese experimental filmmaker. Born on September 22, 1986, in Kiryu, Gunma Prefecture, she studied screenwriting at university before continuing her training in experimental film at a film research institute. Alongside her work as a Japanese language teacher at a cram school, she produces deeply personal experimental films in a self-documentary format. Her artistic influences include Sophie Calle and Christoph Schlingensief.
