Máximo Carranza (born December 9, 2005, in Córdoba, Argentina) is an Argentine filmmaker attending film school at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC). In his first year, he wrote one of the highest-evaluated short films of his incoming class, "El Códice" (The Codex), a four-minute science fiction thriller about government control through technology and the censorship of analog media. He also co-edited the film and was responsible for its sound design.
