For "The Last Case" Florian Herzog appeared for the first time as a director. He realized the four-minute film noir detective thriller, which deals at its core with the topic of acceptance and thus initiated the starting signal for future projects and founded his own brand Elyrium Films with its creation. Herzog wrote the script, outlined the storyboard and directed the film himself. Post-production was also handled entirely by Florian Herzog. The production period was from February 2021 to July 2021, and the film was shot in a single day. For his work on "The Last Case," Florian Herzog was nominated as best director at the Breaking TV Film Festival in London.
