Juan Bustamante was born in Nicaragua and raised in Azusa, CA. Upon graduating high school, he enlisted in the US Navy. He was stationed in Camp Pendleton, where he was attached to the US Marine Corps and honorably served during Operation Iraqi Freedom / Enduring Freedom (2002-2006).
