Shaun Hume was born in Australia, and is a writer, director, producer, cinematographer and editor. After working as a freelance writer and stills photographer, Shaun turned his focus towards films in his 30’s. His debut feature film, Wakefulness (2018), has been described as “a pensive and meditative journey”, delivering the first person account of a man coming to terms with a significant trauma. Shaun’s second feature, En Masse (2022), is an experimental sci-fi drama about the impact of a wide reaching terror attack on two friends, and has been called a film which “makes you feel you are half remembering episodes before you were born, and half experiencing episodes after you have died”.
