Tia Bella, born Christina Smith on December 25, 1973, in Newark, New Jersey, is a former American adult film actress of Greek and Spanish descent. Raised in a middle-class family, she attended Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in History while working as an exotic dancer and posing for Playboy to support her studies. A member of the Tri-Sigma Sorority, she gained campus recognition before moving to Los Angeles in 1997, where she approached Vivid Entertainment and signed as a Vivid Girl, debuting in Secrets & Lies (1997).
