Simon Richard Baker III (born March 30, 1986) is an Aboriginal Canadian actor. Simon is of Cree, Haida, and Squamish descent. He began acting at the age of nine with a starring role in Once in a Blue Moon. He gained early recognition as one of the leads in the television series North of Sixty before appearing in productions including Into the West, Buffalo Dreams, The Missing, Smoke Signals, The Sweet Hereafter, Shanghai Noon, I, Robot, and Journey to the Center of the Earth.
