Raised in Stockport, Manchester, Aurora's mother was an ecologist before completing her PhD in animal behaviour and genetics. Her father is a teacher for children with special needs and violent offenders. Aurora was writing plays and winning acting awards as a teenager and that tenacious focus has since cemented her as a highly regarded talent in the UK indie filmmakers circles, known for her excellence as a storyteller in many forms.
