iMbali ka Baba is the story of a teenage girl Mbali from Tugela Mouth, KZN. She longs for what she deems a "perfect family". A father, mother and siblings but is raised by her single mother Anna. Her father lives across the valley with his wife and two kids, his weekly visits to Mbali are not enough. On her birthday, she demands more.
