In Shin-Okubo, Tokyo, Korean woman Omoni is facing the perils of lonely old age in Japan. She came to the country decades ago, with no opportunity to learn the language. Woven through images of assimilated Korean women and the communities they build within the society, hope is cultivated slowly towards a society that will better support their elderly immigrants.
