Podil is a historic district of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. It was first mentioned in chronicles in 945. It has experienced and witnessed many things. And it has not survived many things. I have always been amazed by the number of freely written drawings and words on the walls, fences, and bus stops in this neighborhood. I have never seen so many of them anywhere else.
