Germany has been the first (and still the only) state in Europe that introduced a dialect identification assistance system (DIAS) to its asylum system. This short film was created using material gathered through open source investigation and includes archival and contemporary findings spanning from images to footage to sound recordings. Voice as both subject and object, voice transformed-transferred-disembodied , voice as remainder, voice as presence.
