Nebesa pod Triglavom mirrors the real-life struggles of those forced to escape Slovenia under the threat of death during World War II. Weaving together multiple true stories into a fictional tale, the film revolves around a 13-year-old boy who helps run his family's convenience store in a town overshadowed by the presence of both Italian soldiers and partisans.
