La Mestra is the documentary that tells the story of Marifé Arroyo around her teaching experience between 1974 and 1982 at the Barx school, La Safor. Through different interlocutors, the viewer will connect with a young twenty-four-year-old teacher who arrived in this mountain town, with just over 700 inhabitants, eminently agricultural and rural, in the years of the late Franco regime and the Transition.
