An elderly widowed man finds himself living his life alone and totally cut off from technological advances because he considers technology to be the root of many evils, and specifically, he hates smartphones. Inevitably, with the passing of the years and the physical wear and tear that this entails, life puts him in a situation where he will have to face his hatred.
